1. Wiki Loves Earth 2016 International photo contest:
Wiki Loves Earth is an international photo contest dedicated to collecting pictures of natural heritage sites and landscape and ornamental gardening objects to illustrate articles in the worldwide free Internet encyclopedia Wikipedia and other Wikimedia Foundation projects. (Courtesy: Wikipedia). Wikimedia CH joined the Wiki Loves Earth 2016 International photo contest in 2016 and the target was the Swiss natural parks, Swiss mountains and the small Swiss lakes that emphasize Switzerland's natural heritage.
My image of the Matterhorn and Riffelsee from Rotenboden (shot with a Canon EOS 60d, 18 - 135mm, normal lens camera ) came 17th in the 28 images that made the final shortlist.
2. VIEWBUG Photo Contests
Viewbug is a picture-sharing community with the best photo contests . Some of the awards I have won are the Member Selection Award, Peer Choice Award, Awesome, Staff Winter Selection 2015, Top Shot Award, Community Choice Award and a Contest Finalist - The Beauty of Fall Contest .
