About me

I am Banu Balaji and live in Zürich, Switzerland. My love-story with photography began in my teens, watching my father take pictures with ease and capture those special moments of life effortlessly - the light, the emotions, making the moments special! 

 

As I watched him capture the nuances - be it people or nature, I became  more  interested in clicking rather than to be clicked. My first Digital Camera was a Nikon Coolpix with which I learnt Digital Photography,  and then I slowly moved towards the Canon DSLR.

 

Moving to Europe in 2008, gave me many opportunities to explore, travel, and click whatever attracted me.. I started with Nature & Landscapes. Cityscapes, Macro, Still Life, Indoor Photography  became later favorite additions.
